Presentation of Corruption Crimes within the Framework of Domestic Law and the Peculiarities of their Disclosure: the Distance Learning Course of the ACSYL was held

On 19 May, 2020, the regular distance learning course of the 5th stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders took place. The topic of the course was “Presentation of Corruption Crimes within the Framework of Domestic Law and the Peculiarities of their Disclosure.” Mr. Arnold Vardanyan, member of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, Chief Lawyer/Expert of the Court of Cassation, was the lecturer.

During the training, the participants discussed the scope of corruption crimes. The methodological features of the investigation of these crimes were discussed simultaneously as well. The lecturer presented the peculiarities of operative-investigative measures and investigative actions, discussing them from the point of view of the legal positions expressed by the European Court of Human Rights and the approaches of the RA Court of Cassation. During the training, he also touched upon the practical and legislative issues of the investigation of the mentioned crimes.
