I myself will participate in the courses to enrich my knowledge: the Dean about the Program for Young People
On 10 July, 2020, the representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association held an online seminar with the students of the Gyumri “Progress” University and the college of European Regional Educational Academy, Gyumri branch within the framework of the awareness-raising program of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project.
Ms Gayane Gevorgyan the Coordinator/Lawyer of the Shirak Regional Branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association welcomed the participants of the awareness seminar. She informed the participants that the RA Government has given a special role in the fight against corruption to anti-corruption education and awareness. Ms Anahit Stamboltsyan, the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Gyumri “Progress” University, made a welcoming speech, and added, “I myself will participate in the courses to enrich my knowledge.”
During the seminar, Ms Mariam Zakaryan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, and answered the participants’ questions.
The students were very enthusiastic about the fact that they will have an exceptional opportunity to play a significant role in the fight against corruption, raise their awareness and participation in it. They also were interested in the duration of the anti-corruption education and worrying whether they will be able to study it in combination with the lessons.
More than 6 students participated in the awareness seminar.
