University and College Students will be involved in the Fight Against Corruption
On 21 July, 2020, the representatives of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association held an online seminar with the students of theVanadzor branch of the European University, and Vanadzor Karen Gharakeshishyan Vocational State College No. 1, within the framework of the awareness-raising program of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project.
Ms Zarine Hovhannisyan, Lawyer, Coordinator of the Lori Regional Branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, made a welcoming speech at the awareness seminar.
During the seminar, Ms Mariam Zakaryan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, and answered the participants’ questions and shared own experience.
Mariam Zakaryan emphasized the participation of everyone, noting that the points of the program have been revised, as a result of which there will be no limit to the number of participants, which in turn aims to increase the level of excitement among the participants.
Teacher Tehmina Apinyan was present at the meeting organized with Vanadzor State Vocational School No. 1 after Karen Gharakeshishyan. She welcomed the implementation of the program and addressed her questions to the organizers of the program.
The participants were mainly interested in the procedure for applying to the program, implementation deadlines, training mechanisms, as well as the implementation of the anti-corruption campaign that is part of the program in the current emergency situation.
More than a dozen people participated in the awareness seminars.
