7th Assembly

The 7th assembly of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Civil Society Organizations of Armenia (hereinafter: Coalition) was held online on December 9, 2022.

The assembly began with the presentation of the activity report of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs for the period of 05.02.2021-08.12.2022, followed by discussions on the implementation process of the Coalition’s 2019-2023 Strategy and making additions and changes to it.

Then, Karen Zadoyan, the coordinator of the coalition’s secretariat and president of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, put forward for discussion the issues of adopting and discussing changes to the regulations of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs. In particular, according to the participants, it is necessary to make such changes to the Coalition’s regulations that will result in increased motivation and activity of Coalition members. Several members came forward with their suggestions on the raised issue.

Next, the issue of approving the new composition of the management board of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs was discussed, and the coalition assembly decided that the management board should consist of 7 members. Accordingly, the following CSOs were elected by the Assembly as members of the 7th composition of the Management Board:

  1. Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises, represented by Arkadi Sahakyan,
  2. “Elegia” Cultural NGO, represented by Harutyun Aleksanyan,
  3. “Tukhmanuk” Human Rights and Educational Center NGO, represented by Mariam Chakhoyan,
  4. “Center for Economic Law” NGO, represented by Movses Aristakesyan,
  5. “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Cooperation Association” NGO, represented by Hakob Avagyan,
  6. “NGO Center” CSDI NGO, represented by Arpine Hakobyan,
  7. Armenian Lawyers’ Association, represented by Karen Zadoyan.

After the online discussion of the assembly, the first session of the newly elected Management Board of the Coalition was held at the office of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
