Senior Students of Gyumri Academic College showed Great Enthusiasm inn the Issue of their Participation in the Fight against Corruption

On 6 July, 2020, the representatives of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association held an online seminar with the Senior Students of Gyumri Academic College, within the framework of the awareness-raising program of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project.

Ms Gayane Gevorgyan the Coordinator/Lawyer of the Shirak Regional Branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, delivered a welcoming speech at the awareness seminar. Ms. Roza Khachaturyan, a teacher at Gyumri Academic College, also greeted the participants. She especially the involvement of the young generation in that struggle.

During the seminar, Ms Mariam Zakaryan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project. She answered the participants’ questions.

The students accepted with great enthusiasm the fact that they will have the opportunity to play a serious role in the fight against corruption. They also highlighted the fact of raising their awareness and participation in the fight against corruption, as well as dissemination of anti-corruption information and values in their environment. They informed that they have already started such struggle within the scope of their capabilities.

More than 13 students participated in the awareness seminar.
