Students of Gyumri Branch of  the Armenian National Polytechnic University will also be involved in the Fight against Corruption

On 7 July, 2020, the representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association held an online seminar with the students of the Gyumri branch of the Armenian National Polytechnic University, within the framework of the awareness-raising program of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project.

Ms Gayane Gevorgyan the Coordinator/Lawyer of the Shirak Regional Branch of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association welcomed the participants of the awareness seminar. She informed the participants that the RA Government has given a special role in the fight against corruption to anti-corruption education and awareness.

During the seminar, Ms Mariam Zakaryan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, and answered the participants’ questions.

The students were very enthusiastic about the fact that they will have the opportunity to play a significant role in the fight against corruption, and raised their awareness and participation in it. They also highlighted the dissemination of anti-corruption information and values ​​in their neighborhood. They also noted the role of the young generation in this work. The latter were interested in how long anti-corruption education would last and how deeply they would be able to study it.

More than 12 students participated in the awareness seminar.
