Teachers attach Importance to the Participation of Youth in the Anti-Corruption Program

Online Seminars were held on 14, 15, 17, and 20 July with the students of Vanadzor High Schools No. 14, 15, 17, and the students of the basic colledge of Vanadzor State univesity within the framework of the awareness-raising program of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.

Ms Zarine Hovhannisyan, Coordinator/Lawyer of the Lori Regional branch of the ALA, made a welcoming speech at the awareness seminar, encouraging the students to participate in the program to gain anti-corruption knowledge.

During the seminar, Ms Mariam Zakaryan, representative of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, and answered the participants’ questions.

Teacher Lala Mirzoyan was present at the meeting with Vanadzor High School No. 11 after Griboyedov. She welcomed the implementation of the program and addressed her questions to the program organizers.

Araksya Petrosyan, a teacher at Vanadzor’s Movses Khorenatsi High School No. 17, held a welcoming speech at the meeting as well. She also welcomed the implementation of the program, noting the importance of involving the student.

The participating students were mainly interested in the application procedure, implementation deadlines, and the teaching mechanisms.

More than a dozen students participated in the awareness seminars.

The “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project is supported by the Government of Sweden.
