Anti-corruption ambassadors in the education system
On 27 December, the final graduation meeting with the students of Syunik region who graduated from the e-course “Youth4Anti-Corruptio” project implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO was held online.
Mr. Vache Baghdasaryan, a lawyer of the Kapan office of the ALA, opened the meeting. He congratulated the students of Syunik region who successfully completed the e-course of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, and at the same time thanked the students for their active participation in the program.
Ms Mariam Zakaryan, Lawyer/Project Assistant of the “Youth4Anti-Corruption” project, in her turn, also congratulated the participants of the program, introduced them to how students who have completed e-learning online can get their certificates.
The students participating in the meeting were given the opportunity to express their opinion on the e-learning platform of the program, in particular, what expectations they had from the program, and what it gave them.
All the students who participated in the meeting thanked the ALA for the implementation of the program, noting that all their expectations related to the program were met and most importantly, the program enabled them to acquire new knowledge, improve their knowledge in the field of anti-corruption, in particular, where corruption comes from and how it can be prevented, emphasizing the importance of anti-corruption education.
The students also expressed their readiness to participate in similar programs implemented by the organization in the future.
At the end of the meeting, the speakers once again thanked all the participants, urging them not to be limited by what they have achieved, to continue developing their anti-corruption knowledge, emphasizing anti-corruption education among schoolchildren and young people.
