The Expanded Meeting of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia was held

On 15 November, the expanded meeting of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, in which experts and consultants of the Coalition participated as well.

Mr. Arkady Sahakyan, the Chairman of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia chaired the meeting. Mr. Karen Zadoyan, Coordinator of the Coalition’s Secretariat, made a welcoming speech.

The members of the Board discussed the work done in the anti-corruption field, during which the recorded problems were also presented.

A discussion was held on issues related to the Conference of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, which is expected in the near future, current issues and future tasks were presented.

It was also mentioned that the elections of the new composition of the Governing Board of the Coalition should be held.

The Civil Society Organizations Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia was founded on 28 November, 2014. Currently, about 71 CSOs are members of the Anti-Corruption Coalition.

The mission of the Anti-Corruption Coalition is to promote the eradication of corruption in Armenia by creating based on the personal example, the demand for good governance among the public at large and public servants, by introducing anti-corruption strategies in public and private institutions.
