The 9th Assembly of CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia Was Held: New Composition of the Governing Board Was Formed

On January 17, 2025, the 9th Assembly of the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia (hereinafter: Coalition) was held. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, with Yerevan CSO representatives participating in person, while regional partners joined via online platform.

During the Assembly, Karen Zadoyan, Coordinator of the Coalition’s Secretariat and President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the Coalition’s activity report for the period of 08.12.2023-16.01.2025. The report detailed the Coalition’s statements, conducted analyses and formed positions, and also discussed current challenges and upcoming tasks.

Within the agenda, the Coalition’s new edition of regulations was discussed and approved. Assembly participants also discussed and approved the new five-member composition of the Governing Board. As a result of elections, the Coalition’s 9th Governing Board includes:

  1. “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO, represented by Karen Zadoyan,
  2. “European Business Association” NGO, represented by Diana Sarumova,
  3. “Media for Education” NGO, represented by Anush Martirosyan,
  4. “Digital Armenia” NGO, represented by Armen Baghdasaryan,
  5. “House of Justice” NGO, represented by Tereza Galstyan.

At the first session of the newly elected Governing Board, Diana Sarumova was unanimously elected as Board Chairperson. By the Governing Board’s decision, “Lusastgh” NGO joined the Coalition. The Governing Board expressed readiness to continue the Coalition’s effective activities aimed at strengthening the fight against corruption in Armenia.
