Explain the logic of imposing administrative liability for not filling out a statement: Movses Aristakesyan to the Deputy Minister of Finance
At the initiative of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly, Draft Amendments to the Tax Code is being discussed in the National Assembly.
Deputy Finance Minister Arman Poghosyan presented the draft.
It should be noted that at the session on 17 November, the Government adopted a decision to introduce a system of universal income declaration of individuals in the Republic of Armenia.
Mr. Movses Aristakesyan, President of the “Center for Economic Rights” NGO, the Chairman of the Governing Board of the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, asked Arman Poghosyan:
“Has this package been discussed in professional structures such as the Public Council at the Minister of Finance, the Tax Council of the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Council of the State Revenue Committee,” he said.
Movses Aristakesyan also said. “A pensioner who receives an average of 40,000 drams should be subject to administrative responsibility for 20,000 drams, and a public employee whose monthly income exceeds 2 million should be subject to administrative responsibility for only 50,000 drams, and a notary for 350,000 drams.”
