Anahit Mardoyan presented to the Students of the Anti-Corruption School her experience gained at the International Anti-Corruption School with the OGP support

The Outreach Training Phase of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders, the 1st anti-corruption professional educational initiative operating in the Republic of Armenia began in Aghveran on 13 August.

The speaker of the 2nd day (14 August) was Anahit Mardoyan, the Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders, who presented to the students her experience in the international anti-corruption school.

In the period of 26 June to 5 July, 2023, Anahit as the Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association and the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, with the support of the Open Government Partnership, participated in the Transparency International School on Integrity and Transparency Fellows programs, which take place had in Vilnius, the capital of the Republic of Lithuania.

In her speech, she presented to the students the topics included in the curriculum of the international school, organized seminars and group practical works. In particular, within the framework of the program, the speaker had discussions and exchange of experience on the measurement of the level of corruption, public procurement, whistleblowing system, and integrity, money laundering and other topics.

The speaker also presented all the proposals that, in her opinion, will contribute to the development of anti-corruption education and the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders in Armenia.

After the speech, the Coordinator of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders had a direct conversation with the students in an open and relaxed atmosphere in the nature. The participants presented her with their observations and suggestions regarding the curriculum of the next streams of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders.

They suggested increasing the number of master classes on international experience in the fight against corruption, money laundering and corruption trials.

The Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders was founded by Karen Zadoyan, the President of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, a member of the Anti-Corruption Policy Council. “The Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO is organizing the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders in cooperation with the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia.
