4th Assembly

On December 9, 2019, within the framework of an anti-corruption event dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day, the 4th assembly of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs was held.

During the assembly, Karen Zadoyan, the coordinator of the coalition’s secretariat and president of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, presented the activity report of the Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenian CSOs for the period of 19.12.2018-09.12.2019, and then discussed with the members the problems facing the coalition and upcoming tasks.

The discussions and exchange of ideas were followed by the issue of electing the number and composition of the 4th Management Board. Eventually, it was decided at the Coalition assembly that the management board should consist of 9 members with the following composition:

1. Armenian Lawyers’ Association, represented by Karen Zadoyan,
2. Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises, represented by Arkadi Sahakyan,
3. “NGO Center” CSDI NGO, represented by Arpine Hakobyan,
4. Armenian Young Doctors Association, represented by Gevorg Grigoryan,
5. “Law and Freedom Center” NGO, represented by Sona Harutyunyan,
6. “Center for Economic Law” NGO, represented by Movses Aristakesyan,
7. “Tukhmanuk Human Rights and Educational Center” NGO, represented by Mariam Chakhoyan,
8. Union of Communities of Armenia, represented by Emin Yeritsyan,
9. Equal Opportunities Support Foundation, represented by Hayk Margaryan.

It should be added that 4 of the current 9-member composition of the Coalition’s Management Board have been elected to the management board for the first time. These CSOs are: “NGO Center” CSDI NGO, “Law and Freedom Center” NGO, “Tukhmanuk Human Rights and Educational Center” NGO, and Equal Opportunities Support Foundation. Of the members of the Anti-Corruption Coalition’s management board, 6 are male and 3 are female representatives.
